Duration:
641 hours

First Aid:
All students are required to complete a First Aid Certificate with an accredited provider to gain employment in the industry.
($130.00 Cost to be met by student).

Assessments:

Assessments are competency based and include a variety of written, project and practical work.

Vocational Placement:
Up to 240 Hours on the job.

Classroom & Correspondence Delivery:
Fee Option 1:
$2600 (less non refundable deposit of $250)
Interest free payment plans available – direct debit only

Online Delivery:
Fee Option 1:
Four equal instalments of $486.25 (total = $1945)
First installment must be paid prior to commencement.
Fee Option 2:
Deposit of $250 followed by 44 payments of
$50 per week (total = $2450)

Course Outline:
This qualification covers workers who use organisation policies, procedures and individual children’s profiles to plan activities and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play and enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes. Depending on the setting, workers may work under direct supervision or autonomously.

Occupational Titles May Include:
Early Childhood Educator, Playgroup Supervisor, Family Day Care Worker, Childhood Educator, Childhood Educator Assistant, Nanny, and Mobile Assistant.
