GOLD COAST and BRISBANE work closely with Translink which is the provider for public transport; within the options that you have to move around this beautiful cities you find: bus, train and tram services.

In order to use these services you have to acquire a Go Card. The fastest way to get your Go Card are through:
- 7/Eleven stores and selected retailers where you see the “buy” symbol
- Queensland Rail Station ticket offices
- Fare Machines at G:link and busway stations
- On board Brisbane City Council CityCat and Ferries
The cost to acquire a Go Card is of $5
When you start your journey please remember to touch on when getting into the public transport and touch off when getting off, there is always a Translink Logo at the entrance of all public transport
CONCESSION
For International Students you may be eligible to apply for a concession which will make your journeys 50% cheaper than an adult fare.

Step 2: Purchase a concession or adult Go Card and logon to the TransLink website to register your Go Card and input details as required.
Step 3: Review your details and submit.
Note: If you are eligible, TransLink will notify you via SMS or email and concession will notify you via SMS or email and concession fares will be activated on your go card the next time you travel.
